How do we know that God's goodness satisfies us?

Answered in 1 source

We recognize God's goodness satisfies us through His eternal love and promises, affirming our identity as His children.

The satisfaction we find in God's goodness emanates from the understanding of His eternal love and the unbreakable promises He makes to His people. Jeremiah 31:3 asserts, 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness have I drawn you.' This reflects the unchangeable character of God's goodness towards us, which was established before the foundation of the world. Additionally, as believers, we are adopted into God’s family, providing not just privilege but deep, abiding satisfaction as we live knowing we are cherished children of God. This assurance empowers us to trust in His dealings and to find joy in His guidance, regardless of our circumstances.
