How do we know that God's grace can never be received in vain?

Answered in 1 source

If God's grace is received, it will accomplish His intended purpose; no true recipient can lose it (2 Corinthians 6:1).

According to 2 Corinthians 6:1, when God's grace is truly received, it cannot be received in vain; rather, it accomplishes the purpose for which it was given. This is indicative of the sovereignty of God's grace in salvation—it effectively transforms the heart and life of the believer. The assertion that grace can be received in vain contradicts the nature of God's gift; if someone seemed to receive it in vain, it reflects that they have not truly received it at all. Therefore, the transformative nature of grace ensures that it will accomplish God's will.
