How do we know that God's grace cannot be lost?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is unconditional and preserved by His power, thus it cannot be taken away from His elect.

The assurance that God's grace cannot be lost is rooted in the very nature of God's promises. Ephesians 1:13 states that upon believing, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, which acts as a divine guarantee of our inheritance. This seal signifies legal ownership and the permanence of God's commitment to His people. Despite our repeated shortcomings and failures to uphold His commandments, God, in His faithfulness, will not revoke His loving-kindness. God's grace is not contingent upon our performance but is a free gift, based on His sovereign choice and love.
