How do we know that God's grace is always present?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures us that, despite feelings of abandonment, God's grace is always present and sufficient for His children.

In moments of trouble, believers may feel as though God's grace has vanished, as seen in Psalm 77 where the psalmist reflects on his internal struggles. However, the assurance that God's grace is constant comes from understanding His unchanging nature and promises. Hebrews 13:8 affirms that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, anchoring our souls in His eternal grace. The psalmist encourages us to remember God's past works and grace which affirm that even when we feel abandoned, God's promises remain steadfast. Thus, we are invited to look beyond our feelings to the truth of who God is and what He has accomplished through Christ.
