How do we know that God's grace is sufficient for ministry?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is sufficient for ministry as stated in 2 Corinthians 12:9, where Paul reflects on God’s strength made perfect in weakness.

In the context of ministry, Paul explicitly states in 2 Corinthians 4:1-7 that it is by the mercy of God that we are able to carry out this work. The assurance that God's grace is sufficient comes from our recognition of our own insufficiency. Paul points out that our sufficiency is not of ourselves but is of God (2 Corinthians 3:5). The weakness of our earthen vessels magnifies the power and glory of God because it is through our frailty that His strength is demonstrated. In embracing His grace, we are empowered to fulfill our calling and overcome the challenges that come with it. God's grace not only sustains us in our efforts but animates the very purpose of the ministry itself.
