How do we know that God's grace prevails over our sins?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace prevails because even the sin of His elect cannot destroy the security of His kingdom.

God's grace is demonstrated through His ability to overrule our sins and maintain the security of His kingdom. As seen in David's life, despite his sin of taking multiple wives against God’s command, the kingdom was not destroyed. Instead, God's purpose was fulfilled through David, culminating in the birth of Solomon. This reflects the truth that man's sinfulness does not thwart God’s sovereign plans. As Philippians 1:6 tells us, 'He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus,' meaning that His grace continually preserves and upholds the faithful despite our failures.
