How do we know that God's grace saves?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace saves because it is given freely to those chosen by Him, not dependent on human will.

The Bible asserts that, 'By grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God' (Ephesians 2:8). This underscores that salvation is purely a divine work, not contingent upon our actions or decisions. God's grace is not merely an offer awaiting our acceptance; it is an active force that transforms the hearts of the elect—a grace that is efficacious and redemptive. Those who possess faith do so as a gift from God, again emphasizing the sovereignty of His grace in our salvation.
