How do we know that God's holiness is true?

Answered in 1 source

God's holiness is affirmed through Scripture, the life of Christ, and the transformation of believers.

The truth of God's holiness is continually affirmed throughout the Bible, where His character is described in relation to His perfection and purity. Only a holy God could execute perfect justice while embodying perfect love. In the life of Christ, we see holiness manifested, as Jesus lived a life without sin, embodying the ideals of holiness that God demands. Additionally, the transformation in believers' lives serves as evidence of God's holiness; when individuals come to faith, they experience a profound change that reflects a pursuit of holiness, showing that they are being conformed to Christ's image. Thus, the entirety of Scripture, the life of Christ, and the personal testimonies of believers all serve to verify the truth of God's holiness.
