How do we know that God's kingdom will have no darkness?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible assures us that in God's kingdom, there will be no night or darkness.

The promise of no darkness in God’s kingdom is affirmed in Revelation 22:5, which states, 'And there shall be no night there.' This absence of darkness symbolizes the complete eradication of sin and suffering in God’s perfect kingdom. The light of God’s glory, as described in Revelation 21:23, will illuminate all things, providing an eternal brightness that brings joy and peace. Furthermore, the darkness was placed upon Christ during His crucifixion, as He bore the sins of His people, paving the way for our eternal state where sin and its effects, including darkness, are forever removed.
