How do we know that God's pardon is true?

The certainty of God's pardon is established in Scripture and rests on the work of Jesus Christ. Romans 5:10 states that we are reconciled to God through Christ’s death, and this reconciliation assures believers of their salvation. Heb 7:25 further assures us that Jesus is able to save completely those who come to God through Him. Additionally, the promise in 1 John 1:9 illustrates that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us. Thus, our assurance of pardon is ultimately grounded in God's unchanging nature and the sacrifice of Christ, which provides a solid foundation for our faith.
