How do we know that God's plan is ultimately for our good?

Answered in 1 source

God's plan, even through suffering, is always for His glory and the ultimate good of His people, as shown in Scripture.

The assurance that God's plans are for our good is deeply rooted in Scripture. Through the trials faced by Joseph, who was sold into slavery yet became a savior for many, we see a profound illustration of God's providence. The principle in Romans 8:28 tells us that all things work together for good for those who are called according to His purpose. This means that even the hardships we encounter have a design within God's will to ultimately benefit His elect. Our sufferings are not without purpose; they refine us and prepare us for future glory.
