How do we know that God's plan of salvation is true?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God's plan of salvation is true because it is founded in His eternal purpose and fully accomplished through the sacrificial death of Christ.

The certainty of God’s plan of salvation comes from its foundation in His eternal purpose. In Ephesians 1:4-5, it is affirmed that God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless. The effectiveness of this plan is rooted in the work of Christ, who died to satisfy the penalty for sin and was resurrected to confirm God’s promise of salvation. His obedience unto death, as highlighted in Philippians 2:8, ensures that God’s purpose will not fail. Therefore, believers can rest in the assurance that their salvation is secure because it is rooted in God’s immutable character and faithfulness.
