How do we know that God's plans will succeed despite small numbers?

Answered in 1 source

God assures us that His plans will prevail, not by might nor power, but by His Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).

In Zechariah 4:6, the Lord declares that His work is accomplished not through human strength but by His Spirit. This means that God's plans are not dependent on our resources or numbers, but rather on His divine capacity to effect change. The narrative of Israel returning from Babylonian captivity illustrates this truth vividly; despite their small numbers and lack of resources, God empowered them through His Spirit to accomplish the rebuilding of the temple. When we feel inadequate, we must rest in the assurance that our success does not derive from our abilities but from God’s faithful presence and power.
