How do we know that God's power is sufficient for our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

We know God's power is sufficient for our salvation because it is the same divine power that raised Jesus from the dead, demonstrating His authority over all creation.

Our salvation is completely dependent on the almighty power of God, which is not contingent upon human effort or merit. As emphasized in the sermon, the same power that elevated Joseph to the position of authority in Egypt during the famine is the same power that brings about the new birth in believers. Ephesians 1:19-20 speaks of this power, stating it is the same mighty strength that raised Christ from the dead. We see that God’s power is not just for miraculous deeds, but specifically for salvific purposes, drawing sinners to Himself and transforming their hearts, ensuring that salvation is entirely by grace through faith.
