How do we know that God's promises apply to all believers?

The faithfulness of God is evident throughout Scripture, assuring every believer of their inheritance in Him. In Genesis 28, God speaks directly to Jacob, yet the implications of this promise are universal for all elect children of God. The idea that we were in the loins of Jacob when God made this promise, as referenced in Hosea 12:3-4, illustrates that the covenant blessings extend through generations. Therefore, we rightly conclude that every believer has access to these promises as we are all partakers in Christ's covenant, grounded in grace and predestined love.
