How do we know that God's promises are meant for us?

Answered in 1 source

God's promises are for His elect in Christ, and those who have faith in Him are assured of these promises.

The Scriptures affirm that all of God's promises are given in Christ and to those who believe in Him. For instance, Paul writes in Galatians 3:26 that 'you are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus', indicating that faith is the key to receiving God's promises. Additionally, in Ephesians 1:3, we learn that we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. The assurance of these promises lies in our identity in Christ; if we possess Him by faith, then we are partakers of His promises.
