How do we know that God's promises regarding His presence are true?

Answered in 1 source

God's promises are anchored in His immutable nature and are consistently revealed throughout Scripture.

The truth of God's promises regarding His presence is assured by His character as a faithful and immutable God. Scripture is replete with instances where God assures His people of His presence and support. For example, in Isaiah 41:10, God promises to be with us, stating, 'I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.' Such affirmations are not mere words but reflect the nature of God who cannot lie. Moreover, the historical accounts of God's faithfulness to Israel, and ultimately His presence through Christ, reinforce the certainty of these promises. The believer can hold firmly to the assurance that Christ is with them, fulfilling His word even in the modern age.
