How do we know that God's promises will come to pass?

Answered in 4 sources

We know God's promises will be fulfilled because He is faithful and able to perform what He has vowed.

God's faithfulness to His Word is foundational to Christian belief. Scripture, such as Romans 4:21, teaches that God is 'persuaded that what He has promised, He is able to perform.' This assurance originates from the nature of God, who cannot lie. Moreover, the promises of God in the Gospel provide believers with a sense of security and hope, knowing that His plans and covenants will be fulfilled in due time. God's ability to accomplish His purposes is a testament to His sovereignty and grace towards His people.
