How do we know that God's providence gives us rest?

Answered in 1 source

God's providence assures us that all things are working together for our good (Romans 8:28).

In Romans 8:28, Paul writes, 'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.' This verse reveals that God's providence is not random; it is purposeful and intentional. The trials and tribulations we encounter are used by God to fulfill His sovereign plans for us. Understanding this divine orchestration brings rest to the soul, as it reassures us that nothing we face is outside God's control. Trusting in God's predetermined end fosters peace during unrest.
