How do we know that God's providence governs our lives?

The doctrine of providence asserts that God is constantly at work within His creation, guiding and sustaining all things according to His purpose. Ephesians 1:11 declares that God works all things after the counsel of His own will, which reinforces that nothing occurs outside of His sovereign plan. Believers can find comfort in knowing that every event, whether joyous or painful, is under God's control, and they are assured that His intentions are ultimately for their good and His glory.
