How do we know that God's providence is at work in conversions?

Answered in 1 source

We see God's providence in conversions through His sovereign orchestration of events leading to salvation, as demonstrated in the lives of individuals like Saul and the Ethiopian eunuch.

In the sermon from Acts 8, it's clear that God's providence orchestrates the events of salvation, both for the apostle Saul and for the Ethiopian eunuch. Saul, initially a persecutor of Christians, unwittingly became a catalyst for the spread of the Gospel because of his actions. Likewise, the eunuch was divinely led to Philip at a specific moment in need of spiritual understanding. These examples illustrate how God is in control, using even those with malicious intent to fulfill His purpose of bringing the Gospel to the ends of the earth. The interconnectedness of these events showcases God's sovereign plan in the conversion process.
