How do we know that God's providence is at work in the book of Esther?

Answered in 1 source

God's providence is evident in the coincidences and events that lead to Esther's rise and the salvation of the Jews.

The unfolding events in the Book of Esther illustrate the invisible hand of God's providence. Throughout the narrative, Esther's timely entry into the king's court and Mordecai's uncovering of the plot against the king demonstrate that God is sovereignly directing circumstances for the preservation of His people. Despite the absence of direct mentions of God, His providence can be deciphered through the careful arrangements that lead to the Jews' deliverance, as well as the downfall of Haman, which reinforces the Reformed understanding of God’s sovereignty in human affairs.
