How do we know that God's purpose is unchanging?

Answered in 2 sources

God's purpose is unchanging as He has orchestrated all of history according to His eternal decree, as seen in Scripture.

The unchanging nature of God's purpose is affirmed throughout Scripture, particularly emphasized in the teachings of the apostles and prophets. Ephesians 2:20 highlights the church being built on the foundation of prophets and apostles, indicating that God's plan has been in effect from eternity. In Revelation, we see Christ as the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world, demonstrating that God's redemptive purpose has always been secure and forward-moving. This gives us confidence that God's sovereignty governs every event, unshaken by time or circumstance. Believers can trust in His eternal purpose to save and sanctify His people continually.
