How do we know that God's purposes are accomplished through suffering?

Answered in 1 source

God's purposes are accomplished through suffering as He uses adversity to fulfill His divine plan, illustrated by the persecution in Acts 8.

In Scripture, we see that God often uses challenging circumstances to advance His kingdom. Saul's persecution of the church led to believers scattering and preaching the gospel throughout Judea and Samaria, thus fulfilling Jesus' command to go into all the world (Acts 8:1-4). This embodies the truth that God's plans prevail even when they appear thwarted by human actions. The suffering of His followers does not stop His work; instead, it often accelerates it in ways we might not immediately understand, reminding us to trust in His sovereign will.
