How do we know that God's purposes are secure for His people?

Answered in 1 source

God's purposes are secure because He promises that not one of His elect will perish, as stated in Scripture.

God's unwavering promises assure us of the security of His purposes regarding His elect. Scriptures clearly affirm that every individual chosen by God for salvation will be saved, based on the atoning work of Christ. For instance, Zechariah 10:6 proclaims God's intention to gather His people, affirming that they shall be as though He had never cast them off. This reflects the complete assurance we have that our salvation does not hinge on human efforts or flakiness. Rather, it rests entirely on God's immutable will and purpose, which is irresistible and effective for all whom He has chosen.
