How do we know that God's salvation is secure?

Answered in 2 sources

God's salvation is secure because it is rooted in His eternal purpose and achieved through Christ's redemptive work on the cross (Hebrews 6:10).

The certainty of God's salvation for His people is anchored in His sovereign purpose, which was established before the foundation of the world. Hebrews 6:10 affirms that God is not unjust to forget the work and labor of love that His people have shown. The work of Christ at Calvary was a fulfillment of God's eternal plan, and because it was completed in the past, it cannot be altered by our present circumstances or failures. Therefore, we can rest assured that God's salvation, initiated from eternity, guarantees our eternal security in Him, as nothing in time can change what God has decreed.
