How do we know that God's sovereign will is active in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

We see God's sovereign will at work in our daily circumstances, continually calling us to repentance and faith.

God's sovereign will is evidenced through His providential actions, shaping our experiences and calling us to recognize our need for Him. In times of trial or judgment, such as those expressed through Joel’s warnings, God seeks to remind us of our dependence on His grace. Each day is a 'day of the Lord,' where His hand moves in history and our lives, directing us toward repentance and worship. By reflecting on our trials as a means of divine instruction, we can discern God’s active engagement in our lives, drawing us closer to Him and encouraging us to trust in His promises. He patiently directs us to acknowledge that we are not outside His control, but rather under His loving care.
