How do we know that God's sovereignty is involved in our circumstances?

Answered in 1 source

God's sovereignty is evident as He works all things according to His will, often in ways that may not seem immediately beneficial to us.

The assurance of God's sovereignty in our circumstances comes from the biblical teaching that He orchestrates all events for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). The experiences of Philip in Acts 8 highlight this principle; despite the challenging circumstances of moving from city to desert, God's plan was unfolding according to His perfect timing and purpose. Even when situations appear bleak, believers can trust that God is at work, aligning events and encounters for His glory and the furtherance of His kingdom. This is echoed throughout Scripture, where we see God using even difficult circumstances for His ultimate purpose. Additionally, passages such as Psalm 68:11 affirm that God's Word often goes before us to prepare the way for His revelation.
