How do we know that God's voice can give us true peace and assurance?

Scripture teaches that when God speaks to our hearts, it transforms our understanding and provides peace that surpasses all human comprehension (Philippians 4:7). In the wilderness experiences, believers often find that they cannot rely on worldly help; instead, they discover that God's voice is the only source of true rest. His comforting words offer assurance that He is in control and cares for their needs, both spiritually and temporally. Therefore, the knowledge that we are heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ reinforces our confidence in God’s promises and His ability to sustain us through all circumstances.
