How do we know that God's wisdom is greater than human wisdom?

Answered in 1 source

God's wisdom is shown to be superior because it is grounded in His eternal truths, which often transcend human understanding (Isaiah 55:8-9).

God's wisdom surpasses human wisdom because it is rooted in His eternal character and perfect knowledge. Isaiah 55:8-9 states, 'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD.' This profound difference reminds us that what we perceive to be wise is often tainted by sin and limited by our finite understanding. Furthermore, God's plan of salvation through Christ, which seems foolish to the world, demonstrates His superior wisdom (1 Corinthians 1:18-25). It is by recognizing our own foolishness and the limitations of our reason that we come to trust in God's divine wisdom.
