The sweet savor of Christ emerges from the sincere proclamation of the Gospel. In 2 Corinthians 2:17, Paul asserts that the witnesses are not corrupting the Word of God but speak sincerely in the sight of God. This sincerity is rooted in a desire to glorify God rather than merely seeking to increase numbers or please men. The heartfelt declaration of Christ and Him crucified as per God's Word results in our witness being a fragrant offering to God.
