How do we know that God's Word can strengthen us?

Answered in 2 sources

God's Word is unchangeable and reliable, providing the foundation for strength and comfort to believers.

Strength comes from the authority and steadfastness of the Word of God. In Isaiah 34:16, the Lord encourages His people to seek out the book of the Lord and read, emphasizing that the promises and prophecies within it are guaranteed to come to pass. The Word of God is described as immutable, meaning that it cannot change or fail, providing a sure foundation for believers when they face uncertainty. When we rely on Scripture, we encounter the voice of our Shepherd, which reassures and strengthens us amidst our weaknesses. This assurance in God's immutable Word builds our faith and enables us to stand firm even during tumultuous times.
