How do we know that God's Word will accomplish its purpose?

Answered in 1 source

God's Word is assured to accomplish what He intends, as it will not return void.

Isaiah 55:10-11 provides assurance that God's Word is potent and purposeful. Just as rain nourishes the earth and brings forth life, so too does God's Word bring spiritual nourishment and accomplish the tasks for which it is sent. This underscores the efficacy of God's declarations and promises, which will succeed in their intended outcomes. In the context of salvation, it highlights the assurance that God's chosen people will hear His call and be drawn to Him, fulfilling His redemptive plan. The assurance of Scripture stands against human doubts and emphasizes that God's intentions are unfailing.
