How do we know that God saves us on purpose?

Salvation is explicitly shown in the Bible to be according to God's own purpose and grace (2 Timothy 1:9). The text illustrates that salvation is not a random act but a deliberate decision of God, made before the world began. Romans 8:28 also reinforces this notion by stating that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. This means that every aspect of salvation – from the call to the glorification of believers – is purposefully orchestrated by God, underscoring that He is fully in control of His creation and the work of salvation.
