How do we know that God sees our hearts?

Answered in 2 sources

The Bible teaches that God sees beyond our outward appearances to our true motives, as stated in Hebrews 4:13.

Hebrews 4:13 explicitly states that 'there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.' This reflects the omniscience of God, who sees not only our actions but the true intentions and thoughts behind those actions. In human interactions, we might succeed in putting on appearances, but before God, all pretense falls away. Our true condition is fully exposed to His all-seeing eyes, demanding an honest response from us.
