How do we know that God sends preachers?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God sends preachers because they are called to testify of Christ and are recognized by their preaching of the Gospel.

The certainty of being sent by God is found in passages like Romans 10:14-15, which states that preachers are sent to share the Gospel, enabling others to hear and believe. A preacher’s authority comes from their sending by God rather than their personal credentials or achievements. The true preacher will not seek glory for themselves but will direct all attention to Christ, consistently proclaiming Him crucified and risen, as seen in 2 Corinthians 4:5, where Paul remarks, 'For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord.' This divine sending is part of God's wisdom and design for the Church, ensuring that the message points back to Him.
