In times past, God spoke through the prophets, but in these last days, He has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus Christ. This emphasizes the authority and finality of Jesus’s message and ministry. He is the brightness of God's glory and the express image of His person, meaning that through Jesus, we can fully understand God's character and will for humanity.
