How do we know that God still intervenes in our lives today?

Answered in 1 source

We can trust that God's intervention persists today as He actively listens and responds to the prayers of the righteous.

The belief in God's ongoing intervention is supported by numerous biblical accounts that testify to His faithfulness in hearing and responding to the prayers of His people. In 2 Kings, for instance, we see the account of the Shunammite woman where God intervenes through the prophet Elisha to provide guidance amid a forthcoming famine. This narrative serves as an assurance that God is not only aware of our needs but also engages in our affairs actively, providing help and protection. In Psalm 34:15, it is stated that the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, affirming that He is attentive to our prayers and needs. Trusting in God’s continual intervention aligns with the teaching that He remains sovereign and powerful, ever ready to assist those who seek Him.
