How do we know that God unites His people?

Answered in 1 source

God's promise and the fulfilled prophecy in Scripture affirm His intention to unite His people.

The assurance of God's unity among His people is deeply rooted in His promises throughout Scripture. For example, in Ezekiel 37, God declares, 'I will take the stick of Joseph…and will put them with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick.' This prophetic act illustrates a divine resolution to bring together those who were once divided. Moreover, Paul elaborates on this unity in Ephesians 2, where he explains how Christ's work breaks down the dividing wall of hostility between Jews and Gentiles, making them one body through the cross. This unifying work exemplifies God's sovereign grace and purpose to restore His people, validating our belief in His promises.
