How do we know that God uses foolish messengers?

Answered in 1 source

God intentionally chooses what is viewed as foolish and weak to confound the wise (1 Corinthians 1:27).

In 1 Corinthians 1:26-27, Paul explains, 'For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise.' This demonstrates God's sovereign election, where He selects ordinary people, perceived by the world as foolish or insignificant, to convey His message. This divine choice underlines the truth that the gospel's power lies not in human merit or capability, but in God's grace, ensuring that no one can boast in their own ability but must attribute all glory to Him.
