How do we know that God uses persecution for good?

Answered in 2 sources

God uses persecution to reveal His love and care for us as His children, ultimately producing the peaceable fruit of righteousness (Hebrews 12:11).

Persecution, while grievous, serves as a means through which God chastens His children and identifies them with Christ. As stated in Hebrews 12:11, 'No chastening seems right for the present, but afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.' This experience confirms that God is treating us as His children, guiding us to rely on Him and not our own strength.
