How do we know that God uses trials for our growth?

Trials are often seen as vehicles of divine instruction. Psalm 119:71 articulates that it is good for believers to be afflicted, as it allows them to learn God's statutes more deeply through experience. The trials we face are not random; they are ordained by God to refine our faith and teach us valuable lessons about His character and our dependence upon Him. These experiences serve to remind believers that God's hand is providentially guiding every aspect of their lives, and through trials, His faithfulness is proven to us.
