How do we know that God will accomplish His promises?

Answered in 1 source

God assures that His word will not return void but will accomplish His will (Isaiah 55:11).

The certainty of God's promises is grounded in His character and faithfulness. Isaiah 55:11 explicitly states, 'So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth. It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please.' This assurance is foundational for believers who trust that God will fulfill His ordained purpose in their lives, as all things are under His sovereign control. There are no contingencies outside of His sovereign will, and each promise points to His unwavering commitment to His people.
