How do we know that God will deliver us from evil?

Answered in 1 source

We know God will deliver us because of His promises in Scripture, particularly in Psalm 91 where He assures deliverance to those who trust in Him.

In Psalm 91:3-7, the assurance is given that surely God shall deliver those who trust in Him from the snares of the enemy and from various calamities. The Psalm reflects a confident declaration that God is able to protect His people from evil. This theme is further echoed in the narrative of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who affirmed their faith in God's ability to save them from the fiery furnace. Ultimately, our faith in God’s deliverance rests upon His unchanging character and the covenant promises He has made to His people throughout history.
