How do we know that God will deliver us from our troubles?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture assures us that the Lord hears and delivers those who seek Him from all their fears and troubles.

In Psalm 34, David testifies that he sought the Lord and was delivered from all his fears. He emphasizes that the Lord hears the cries of the poor and needy, asserting that 'this poor man cried and the Lord heard him.' This assurance speaks to the nature of God as one who is responsive to the needs of His people. Throughout scripture, we see instances where God provides deliverance, reinforcing our certainty in His faithfulness. Trusting in God's promises and acknowledging our weaknesses are crucial parts of experiencing His deliverance.
