How do we know that God will finish the work in us?

Answered in 1 source

Philippians 1:6 assures believers that God, who began a good work, will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

In Philippians 1:6, the Apostle Paul expresses confidence that God is faithful to complete the work He has begun in the lives of believers. This assurance is rooted in the character of God, who is both powerful and committed to His promises. It reflects the Reformed understanding of perseverance, which teaches that those whom God has called and justified will ultimately be glorified. We can trust in His faithfulness because He has promised to uphold and sustain His people through all circumstances, ensuring that we will be brought to full maturity in Christ.
