How do we know that God will give us wisdom?

In James 1:5, the assurance that God will provide wisdom upon request is a testament to His gracious character. He does not give begrudgingly or with reproach, which encourages believers to approach Him humbly, admitting their need. This promise is supported by numerous biblical accounts where those earnestly seeking God's help received it.
