How do we know that God will help us in our troubles?

Answered in 1 source

God's Word consistently affirms His readiness to help those in need (Psalm 46:1).

Scripture is replete with declarations of God's willingness to support and assist His people. Psalm 46:1 expands on this promise, stating that God is a very present help in trouble. In times of distress, God's help is not only promised, but it is also guaranteed, as believers can trust in His character and past faithfulness to deliver them. This assurance is underscored in Isaiah 41:10, where God pledges to uphold His elect.
