How do we know that God will keep us saved?

Answered in 1 source

We know God will keep us saved because of His unchanging nature and the completed work of Christ on the cross.

The assurance of salvation is rooted in the character of God and the finished work of Christ. As Paul states in 2 Timothy 1:12, 'I am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.' This reflects a deep conviction that God, in His justice and mercy, is fully capable of securing the salvation of those He has chosen. Romans 8:1 further emphasizes that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, reinforcing the believer's confidence in God’s promise that they will not be lost. God's sovereignty and the atoning work of Jesus guarantee that nothing can separate us from His love and grace.
