How do we know that God will never forsake us?

Answered in 3 sources

God's promise of never forsaking His people is rooted in His unchanging nature and faithfulness.

The assurance that God will never leave or forsake His people is found throughout Scripture, deeply rooted in His character and covenant faithfulness. In Hebrews 13:5-6, the Lord assures believers of His constant presence, enabling them to confidently declare that they will not fear what man can do to them. This promise provides immense comfort, especially in trials and persecutions. The unchanging nature of Jesus Christ, reaffirmed in verses like Hebrews 13:8, assures believers that His commitment to them endures through all circumstances. Thus, believers rest in God’s sovereignty and His unshakeable promises as a source of hope and security.
